Outift Post: Cropped Cat and Girly Pink

Hi Lovelies,

The weather here on east coast is still playing mind games. We are still living in 50 degree days with one or two sporadic 68 degree days. I have officially quit the part time job in hopes that it will give me more time to do other things such as REST lol. It did get a bit overwhelming with a full time job and pursuing my masters degree. I would have kept it if only they weren’t making me close every single weekend till 12 in the night knowing I have to be at work the Monday morning.

Anyway this is the scuba skater skirt that Miranda Kerr was wearing in the H&M ad. When I set my eyes on the skirt online I knew I have to have it once it hit the stores. Luckily I got there just in time to snag my skirt. It was only a cheap 14 bucks too. I love the weight of the skirt because it is definitely made of thick material and can be worn in cold weather with some stocking or leggings.  I always try to look and see how others are wearing the items I am buying and I was pretty disappointed to see that most people who bought this skirt wore it exactly how Miranda Kerr wore it in the ad with a soft white blouse. I wanted to be creative, I came up with the cute look which is ofcourse what I am wearing in the picture below and several more sophisticated looks which I will be picturing the rest of the summer so check back for those look. Let me know how are you holding up in this crazy bipolar weather?

Outfit Post: Cool Summer in Fall?

Hi lovelies,

This week came an amazing surprise – a 70 degree day in November on the east coast! That is something I hadn’t even imagined in my wildest dreams. To make my little self miserable it was my work from home day where I am glued to the computer like the IT nerd that I am. But I decided to dress up and take a few pictures of my outfit on my lunch break and once I was done working I decided to run a few quick errands a little too dressed up for them…but hey I wasn’t going to miss out on this beautiful day. I am oohing and aahing at all the Cali, Miami and Texas bloggers who are living their lives jacket less and wearing cute crop tops and skirts still maybe this was my birthday present from the weather Gods? Why question it when all I had to do was enjoy the day 🙂

You weekly Style Shopper: Beat the Summer Heat in Crop and Crochet

Hi sweeties,

I know weekly style shopper has been MIA for a bit but its making a come back and should be posted every week like it used to be. Now lets talk about a trend that I have been aching to put on since the beginning of this summer but haven’t had a chance thanks to me being injured and unable to workout causing me to gain a bit of belly weight is- CROP TOPS! but crop tops don’t always have to mean that we have to show some skin when we are feeling uncomfortable. A good way to wear crop tops and not show too much skin is to pair it up with high waisted shorts, pants or skirts of any length. And then adding some pieces of statement jewelry, neat looking metallic rings and shoes to make the outfit stand out. I found the cutest looking shoes at Charlotte Russe. I don’t think I have seen sandals quite like this so I knew I had to build an outfit around them. Let me know what you think.

P.S feel free to let me know if you are interested in any specific styles that are out for summer or upcoming fall. Any special events you would like me to suggest outfits for etc.
